   BSA's Letter to Darrell Lambert

November 7, 2002

Mr. Darrell Lambert
P.O. Box XXXXX
Port Orchard, W A XXXXX-XXXX

Dear Mr. Lambert:

You have inquired as to what relationship you may have with the Boy Scouts of America. As you will recall, the letter you received revoked your membership with the Boy Scouts of America.

Despite the fact that your mother serves as Scoutmaster, there is no particular reason why you should have any contact with Scouting activities, and considering that you have publicly disavowed the Duty to God requirement of the Scouting program, your presence at the Scouting activities would be inappropriate.

However, this does not affect your participation as a member of the Learning for Life Exploring Search and Rescue program, as it has no connection with the programs of the Boy Scouts of America.
