Below is a selection of unsolicited comments from visitors to this web site. If they provided their name, only their first name and last initial is noted. If they sent their comment without their name, their e-mail
address is listed. From this pint on, any unsolicited comments received that illustrates either the bigotry, intolerance, and/or ignorance of the visitor, will be posted on this page with their full name. I am sorry to say
that many of the comments were from members of the BSA who are supposed to live by the Scout Oath and Law. It seems that the BSA might wish to take some time to reflect what those words really require a person to do.

I would like to point out to the many ignorant pro-Boy Scout people who posted on this comment page (many who sound appropriately hateful) that the Boy Scouts of
(PART) of America can do what they please since it's a private organization-as the Supreme Court decided, but I, as an American 68 year old gay man, I do NOT want
them meeting in our public schools, firehouses or other publicly funded buildings that are paid for & maintained by my tax dollars.
I think it most extraordinary that in this day & age there are still Americans who
would rather have our young gay boys commit suicide then become accepted, healthy, well adjusted contributing citizens.

To whom it may concern,
Is it really necessary to piss and moan about everything? Poor little gays and
atheist's … the big bad BSA is picking on us. Would you like some cheese with that whine??? Why is it necessary to force your beliefs on people through use of
the court system? Hmmm? Do you really believe that mainstream America is just frothing at the mouth to welcome your lifestyle choices? I think NOT!!! Here's an
idea … why not create your very own scouting organization(s) … you could call it the gay scouts or the atheist scouts. End of problem. Oh … and by the way … I
happen to think that the Boy Scouts of America is perfect just the way it is.

Seriously? Girls in the Boy Scouts? You're serious? Wow. I mean, come on. Seriously? Honest to God, there's a Boy Scouts and a Girl Scouts. Everybody can scout,
but at that age, boys like to play with boys and girls like to play with girls. Nothing "discriminatory" there. You guys make universities keep an open number of spaces
for men and women on college sports teams with your Title 9, but do you seriously want co-ed college sports teams? The UConn Persuns Basketball team?
Seriously, if this is the best fight you guys can find, I would say mission accomplished on the sexism front.

Let me see if I understand you and your web site's objective correctly. This past Saturday while shopping for Thanksgiving supplies at our local
shopping mall, I encounter a number of groups teenagers roaming the mall, trying to look and act cool. As we passed one particular group, one of the public school
grads looked at my 14 year old daughter and said loud enough for all nearby to hear, "I'd like to F _ _ _ your brains out!." I won't go into the details of what ensued -
instead I'll leave that to your imagination. According to the implied and underlying objectives, I am a dirty rotten nasty
fellow, because I didn't invite this chap to my home for dinner on Thanksgiving? Is that what you are really trying to say?
God forbid! Have a nice day. Dead Eye <DeadEye@mindless.com>

I don't see why you feel the need to have a site to try to show the world that Scouting is a bad thing. You and all the other self-less bastards in our world are the ones who
make us look bad and make us out to be all gay. Maybe if you spent your time doing something worthwhile with your life, and not making Scouts look bad you would realize that a single scout does more than any normal lazy American's ass. It
makes me sick to think people like you get sucked into the media and think this way about Scouting because Scouting is a great program.

I see nothing at all wrong with the Boy Scouts practices and beliefs. It is a highly respectable and moral group and the aclu, while it was once a very respectable
group, has in the last few decades, become a sham and a shame.

You have a section about the LDS church and their opposition to the homosexual lifestyle which is true. The false reports are the statements by Dr. Michael Quinn.
Just because someone was never married does not necessarily prove they are gay. I also did my homework and could find no solid evidence that Joseph F Smith
was a homosexual. There are a lot of anti-moromon books and everytime I read one and question their evidence I find it to be fraudulent. I recommend you question
the material you recieve and try to determine if it is fact before you put it up on your website. Because of this I question how much of the information on this website is legite.
Respectfully yours. Ryan L.

Hi,
My name is Neil DXXXXX. I was looking up "Boy Scouts of America" on Google and I found your site. I have been in Boy Scouts since I was 5 years old. I am now a
Tenderfoot Scout in BoySouts. I have lived in several different states and I have many freinds in almost all of the states, they are all in BoyScouts. I have contacted
them and they nor I have seen ,heard of any of the rubish that you have on your site. That may happen in some troops across the Nation, but you are makeing it sound like all of the BSA is bad. WELL IT'S NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a waste of bandwidth. Why does it bother you so much that we have freedom in the great country of ours? Especially freedom of association. Go start a
competitive organization to compete with BSA if you don't like it. Don't force your view of what's right and wrong on this great organization.
Duh!
Boy Scouting is a private organization. They have the RIGHT to set membership standards. Get over it and deal with it!
If you look at the good that comes from this great organization and what it does for
young men, one must wonder why you want to destroy it!
If you stand for everything you stand for nothing. The greatest thing about scouting
is that is has not back downed and cowered to the liberal fringe that is doing it's best to ruin this great nation of ours. It was founded on God and that is why it's the
greatest nation on the earth. Now people like those who sponsor this website think they know a better way. Thank God the Supreme Court upheld the constituion!!!
Yes I'm an Eagle Scout and involved in scouting as a leader. Yes I'm a member of a church sponsored scouting group.

You claim to understand and know the Boy Scouts of America. Obviously you don't and it is a good thing that the BSA stands the line against people like you who want
to destroy the good things in America such as the boy Scots of America.
Go form your own groups, clubs and organizations and develop your own policies and do as you wish. But leave organizations that do not adhere to your policies
alone to conduct their own programs and goals. Why do you insist in destroying a program or organization that may not agree with your beliefs, go start your own. We'll whether the BSA survives and whether beyond yours.

The BSA should continue to dsicriminate against gays in their organization. Let the gays start their own 'scouts' if they want to. The 'gay agenda' is not what scouting is
or should be about and is not in the best interests of young people. It is a further attempt to confuse youngsters and make 'normal' ANY and ALL SEXUAL BEHAVIORS.

Good Morning !
I am and have been an avid supported of the traditional values that the Boy Scouts Of America have held as a standard for so many years.
As a youth in the late 50's and early 60's, I was a member of the Scouts as well as our local Police Atheltic League (PAL) . These organizations helped to form
character which was of paramount importance in developing youth that have a love of God and of country. This morning on WMEL central Florida it was announced that the Philadelphia
chapter of the Boy Scouts of America, has departed from the traditional values of the organization as a whole, and is now allowing gay's. I personally believe that this rogue chapter should have their charter revoked
unless they are willing to accept and practice the tenets of the Scouts.

You obviously have some personal axe to grind with the Boy Scouts and obviously have not researched much of the information you put on your web site. You might
be interested to know that BSA does allow girls in its organization. It is called Venturing and is open to teenage boys and girls through age 20.

It's morons like you that continue to drive scouts away from BSA and into quasi organizations like Royal Rangers. Hopefully, BSA will continue to weather the
storms of liberalism and keep true to the cause. It's you and your ilk that pervades society with your "accept my view or you're a bigot" stance. May the fleas of a thousand Camels infest your living room!

I want you to know that I think you are full of it. I am a Cub Scout leader and also I am a female. BOTH my sons are heavily involved in Scouting which is based on
God and the belief in God, our country and a NORMAL lifestyle of family beliefs and morals. I don't think little girls need to be involved in BOY scouts, because they
have their own organization. And I think by the beliefs of the BSA, if you don't believe in God don't join an organization that believes in God, and if your gay STAY
OUT! Gays do not belong in the BSA due to their immoral beliefs. Some people in this country have lost their morals, and believe that a sinful life style such as being
gay is alright. Well you need to pick up the Holy Bible and read it sometimes. Maybe then, you would understand why God distroyed Sodom and Gomorah. Get a grip!

You obviously believe that BSA should embrace the 3 G's and become an all inclusive organization. You also don't believe that an organization has the right to
develop it's own ideals and extend an invitation to those who share those ideals with the caveat that if these ideals don't fit your views, move on and find another
organization that does. In my view, the 3G's of the world who try to force themselves on the BSA represents a new and disturbing type of human. These
people want to live in a world where anything goes and everything is accepted. I guess this makes them feel more normal. In a way, these 3 G's are trying to force
their "life's philosophy" on others including the BSA. I will tell you that I still belong to the mostly silent majority but let it be known that I and others will fight with our voices
, votes, and dollars to preserve those things we hold dear.

Why would anyone on this earth want to join an organization when they do not believe in the things that the organization teaches and believes. If a person wants
the recognition associated with a certain organization, then they must assume that they will be required to abide by the rules of that organization. If you do not want to
abide by the rules of an organization, it is a free country and you may start your own organization i.e. the Gay Scouts of America, the Boys Who Don't Believe in God
Scouts of America, etc. A private organization does not have to change its rules because some person who wants to become a member feels the rules need to be
changed or bent just for him. The Boy Scouts of America has done more good for the United States of America and the World than all the gays or athiests combined will ever do.
I am sure you have some sort of grudge against this organization, but after all it is a free country and you can say what ever you want. I believe that God will be the final judge.
